The hospital was started by Dr. V.K. Mahajan and his wife Dr. Swami Mahajan in 1978 after getting his degree from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) with a motive to provide a world class health services in Ophthalmology in Jalandhar. The hospital has continuously strived to give the best eye care to its patients.
