Army Public School, Faridkot Mil Stn was established in 1978 as a Garrison Nursery School with just two teachers and fifty students and was designated as Army Primary School in 1982. The school got affiliated to Army Welfare Education Society and Central Board of Secondary Education with effect from 01 Apr 2001 and 01 Apr 2002 respectively. Std X has been added to the school from academic year 2006-07.
